Kevin Frame and his wife, Danielle, are both natives to the area. Kevin grew up in Coeur d'Alene, and Danielle in the Spokane Valley. Kevin was a school teacher in Spokane for 13 years. During his summer breaks from teaching, he always took on other jobs to keep him busy.

One summer, he decided to build his family a house on their property in the foothills in Post Falls. Kevin enjoyed being the general contractor on his own house. When it came time to do the kitchen, he looked into many options, and decided to surprise his wife with beautiful granite countertops. Danielle was thrilled! They had both heard such wonderful things about granite, not to mention they were amazed at its natural beauty. When all was said and done, the granite countertops were both Kevin and Danielle's favorite part of their house! It was the jewelry of their kitchen! Kevin enjoyed the construction field so much; he started thinking about making a major career change.

While he was trying to decide which area of construction he wanted to tackle, his mother's childhood friend called from California and said her son, Bob Opsal, had started his own granite countertop business, in the bay area. Bob's business, Ancient Stone, was quickly growing into a very successful business. She said Bob would love for Kevin to come and pal around with him for a while to see if granite is a trade he would like to get into. Kevin loved it, and caught on quick! (To this day, Kevin and mentor, Bob, talk on the phone every day, and are the best of friends!)

Kevin started up Living Stone in April of 2004. He worked out of his shop at his home, after school and on weekends. Pretty soon, he got so busy; he had to cut down his teaching to only half time. That lasted less than a year, before Living Stone was just so swamped; it was demanding Kevin's full attention. All the students in the West Valley district would have to say goodbye to Mr. Frame! Kevin has never looked back! He loves his granite business! His love of the product, his perfectionist ways, and his mind for business has lead to a successful business that both contractors and clients enjoy working with.

It didn't take long before Living Stone got too big for Kevin and Danielle's home, so they built a commercial building in Post Falls' new Expo business park. This new state of the art facility has been a wonderful addition to Living Stone, Inc. Now, the service and products our builders and clients have loved for 4 years, has just got even better!

Along with our wonderful, personable staff, Kevin and Danielle Frame assure you that Living Stone, Inc. will exceed all of your expectations while we adorn your house with nature's jewelry.
